10 Steps to Get What You Want

Wow, it’s already June and half the year is over. (wow, really?) I’ll bet you probably set some goals for yourself earlier in the year. Time to check in and see how it’s going. You still have plenty of time to hunker down and finish the year strong. It’s not too late to make changes.
Take a look at these 10 tips to get exactly what you want for the rest of your year.
1.Do a little visualization… No matter where you are today, imagine yourself at the end of the year, celebrating what you’ve achieved.
2.Rewrite down your goals and be specific. It also helps to write them in present tense…example I am exercising for 30 min everyday. (instead of I want to be healthier)
3.Be a stickler for detail. A clear vision of your outcome will give you the focus you need to follow through.
4.Put your goals where you can see them and read them out loud everyday.
5.Evaluate what’s working and what isn’t. By now you know what part of your plan needs tweaking.
6.Keep track of small achievements that make you feel a sense of achievement.
7.Take action everyday.. Approach each day by simply asking yourself: What’s the one thing I will do today to make progress on what I care about most?
8.Most important is learn how to prioritize. Be careful not to waste time on activities that won’t lead you toward your goals. (example: staying up late watching “Game of Thrones” when you know you have an appointment to workout early in the morning)
10. Just do it!! And make this year your best ever.
